Middleburg Film Festival Returns With More Than Just New Films

It’s that time of year again! The Middleburg Film Festival (MFF), a signature event on the film festival circuit, will commence this weekend with a full slate of highly anticipated films like, “King Richard” starring Will Smith, “Belfast” directed by Kenneth Branagh, “Spencer” starring Kirsten Stewart and a host of other quality films and special events.
Unlike last year, the festival will reopen to the public with some new requirements in place to keep everyone safe. This year, MFF organizers are requiring that all festival attendees, special guests, staff, volunteers, and members of the press remain to adhere to the following new safety requirements and COVID-19 protocol throughout the entire weekend.

Here’s a look at what to expect if you are planning to visit the picturesque town of Middleburg to partake in this most splendid film retreat:
  1. All festival attendees, special guests, staff, volunteers, and members of the press must show proof of vaccination.
  2. All festival attendees, speical guests, staff, volunteers, and members of the press must show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of attending the festival.
  3. Masks are required while inside any of the festival theatre and conversation venues.
  4. Festival event seating capacity will be reduced at all venues.
  5. A medical doctor will be on-site throughout the course of the festival.

We are excited this annual event is back this year and feel that the above safety precautions and procedures will make for a comfortable and safe experience for all in attendance. Bring on the films!
